Set in the Cotswolds, this project is designed to supply green energy to a hotel and spa complex.
The system consists of an 8.7kW Archimedes screw turbine located in the idyllic grounds of this famous venue. The scheme layout includes a rock ramp style fish pass that allows for the safe upstream migration of fish.
The screw will provide a large portion of the hotels energy requirements and will work alongside a heat pump to further boost efficiency.
