Mill Green
A museum housed in an old mill house dating back to the sixteenth century. They have restored the eighteenth century flour mill and want to further display the mill as an educational demonstration by installing a modern day water wheel – a Hydro Screw.
A 1.1m head with flow rate of 1.1m3/sec will allow for the installation of an 8.7kW scheme generating around 40,000kWh per year.
Estimated payback period – 8.4 years.
