Born out of 30 years of heritage and environmental care at Hallidays Developments, the Hydro specialisation and Intellectual Property has developed since 2004. Hallidays Hydro was the first company in the UK to install a domestic Hydro Screw in 2007 and also operate the installation at Dandridge Mill. Hallidays take pride in viable and complementary projects with an appreciation of the local environment and heritage.
Working closely with bodies such as the Environment Agency, the Carbon Trust and the Energy Saving Trust as well as local Planning Authorities, Hallidays Hydropower have won multiple awards and continue to be nominated for their ongoing environmental work into hydropower.
Hallidays Hydropower are current working on multiple projects across the UK. We have performed projects and studies from Scotland to the West Country, we do not specialise in any particular area and would be happy to travel to see your site.
Schemes that we have been working on range from 5kW private installations to self funded 300+ kW commercial installations.
